Aaron Maher

Director of Product Development

Aaron Maher has 17 Years relevant experience. In the past five years, Aaron has been involved in the successful commercialisation of over 35 technology based products and over 100 R&D activities ranging from feasibility studies, proof of concepts, test and measurement systems, to consulting on production processes.

Chris Drielsma

Senior Advisor & Technical Developer, P.Geo.

Chris has +15 years experience in the mineral exploration and mining industry. From his early career in Red Lake logging core, he knew there needed to be a more consistent, rapid and quantitative way to classify geology/deposits. Chris is a recognized leader in the industry, speaking at conferences, short courses and as an invited lecturer at various universities.

Sebastian D. Goodfellow

R&D Lead and Senior Data Scientist, Ph.D.

Sebastian Goodfellow is KORE’s senior research scientist. He has his Ph.D. in Geophysics with a specialization in Applied Seismology and Rock Mechanics from the University of Toronto. Sebastian also holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering respectively. His role as primary research scientist is to lead the testing and application of various machine learning and data science techniques to data that has been acquired for mining and exploration projects. Additionally, he devotes time to develop new algorithms and techniques for data analysis. Sebastian plays lead guitar in a Beatles cover band when he's not diving with sharks (real sharks, not Kevin O'Leary).

Patrick Hooker

Senior Software Engineer

Patrick Hooker is KORE’s senior software developer. Pat is passionate about developing software tools to simplify life, from programming his morning wake up lights at home to 3D interpretation routines of geochemistry. He has a history developing commercially successful products and software tools aimed at data QA/QC, pattern recognition, exploratory data analysis, data fusion, and other robust analytical tools to extract value from complex multivariate data sets.

Chris Lane

Software Products and Operations

Chris has over 17 years of experience in connected products that all started in the early days of home automation. He also has experience in project management and industrial design including CAD and 3D modelling. Chris has managed product development, production, calibration and delivery of OEM downhole tools for customers, and the development of web-based systems for data collection and analytics.
